I called Dyson friday about a small hole in the hose of my DC04. Very nice lady couldn't find the date of manufacture for my hoover, but kindly ordered a replacement which arrived this morning. Well done Dyson!!

I have a Dyson washing machine, its amazing. When it developed a fault it ran a diagnostic test on itself and then on the digital display gave me the fault code and told me to call them and gave me the number lol. I was so amazed i didn't even mind that the machine had broken down i just did as it told me (this was at 7 o'clock on a thursday night) they sent an engineer out the very next day and not only did he fix the fault but also replaced things like door seals etc. What amazed me even more was this was all 1 week before the 2 year guarantee ran out so didn't even cost me anything instead of the usual 1 week after lol.

A few days later a also recieved a new soap drawer for the machine which i didn't need, it was just as a spare.

I can't fault them.

Blimey, I think I might have to ring them myself tomorrow - I've got a DC04, and either one of the kids or my other half broke it somehow - it's not one of the bits that you can buy on their website. Anyway, that was at least six months ago, and I got fed up waiting for Colin to go to the spares shop (there's a dedicated Dyson one in Brum) to see if he could get the bits for it, so I gave up and went and brought a new one.
