Get my acceptance on Saturday. It gives 14 days to return the form but it was dated the 12th.

Phoned them up and extended my return time.

The covering letter did say they were experiencing very high demand for their products - I wonder why?
    Fat and proud lol
  • I was thinking of taking up the HSBC card offer. Do you think its a good idea for somene just beginning to be a flirt with 0%'s?
I was royally screwed by LTSB and now need to switch cards for the first time ever.
  • I wouldn't touch them. This is the worst application process I have ever faced. If you are new, then there are far better cards to start with.I have no trouble with, Egg, MBNA,Mint,to name but 3.
  • Better to ring them,as its the same questions on the phone as in the paper app. and any probs are sorted straight away.. and all is prossesed faster..

I applied online for the HSBC 0% card on 16th January. Got an email back promising some sort of reply within 10 days. Today is 30th January. Have today called the number given for enquiries in my email and, after a ten minute wait, have been told by a very polite Indian gentleman that I should receive a reply within the next 5-7 days.

    What is their problem?
