440/7276 isnt in the RO list.
Walked by an argos today,,,,,, was sorta drawn towards it.... tried to resist, like you do ... but no was drawn in (wellingborough one ) . BUT AGHHHHHHHHHH I hadnt got my doctered versions of Stumpy s list with me, so came back out without giving the instore checker thingy a hammering . Probley as well tho cos the credit cards have taken a hammering lately.
Well spotted on the phones stumpy , I hadnt noticed the quads dont have an answerphone, had assumed cos the triples have the quads have too, not that I even tried the answer phone bit yet!

Oh well it looks like I am a completely unique individual as no-one has replied with agreement to my post that I put the link up for.  

It seems perfectly logical to me but not to worry. I shall drop my mini crusade and have an early night.  ;D

aliasojo, thanks for your reply to my earlier query about the mowers.
Regarding your link, I think the majority of people here are not too bothered because like you say, they tend to just follow a few threads that interest them. My browser opens with two pages active, one on this thread where I left it the day before and the other on the main MSE page ready for me to go anywhere, and that is usually where I see new posts in either Gas&Electric, Savings, Pensions or Silver Savers. The other threads only get looked at by me when I'm bored.
I also think that maybe others are thinking that the moderators do that job of moving threads if they think fit.
But don't think that it was a wasted effort, it's good that some people take the time to think about how this site should progress, otherwise it would just stagnate.

Hmmm. Strange. I did actually put a reply on to that thread, but its gone ??? Unless I put it somewhere completely different by accident? Very odd. If anyone sees a completely off-topic reply of mine somewhere - it escaped!!!

to MarkR. He has just posted a quad pack of dect phones to me. After picking up a number of the quad and triple packs and posting them round the country ~(because I didn't need them), my phones packed up yesteday and I am resigned to using the old fashioned type of phone with a cable

Whilst on my soapbox, I just wanted to say that the Argos thread is definitely the nicest thread of the chat forums. The comradeship shown on here is amazing. The majority of people on here go out of their way to find that special bargain for others and seem to enjoy doing so (well I know I do )

Just to say I've been watching for a while and number-crunching in my local Argos, managed to get some Home TV Network things but alas, no headphones/N-Gage. Very much doubt there are any of the latter floating around.

Anyway, if anybody is in desparate need of something I'd be happy to punch it in and see if it's about for you. Thankyou!
