Well done! Just shows that the odd thing will still pop up.

With regard to the mowers query; I don't think the RO list was completely exclusive to the last catalogue only. I'm sure we heard that there were items on it that were from 3 or 4 catalogues back.

Given that, it is entirely possible for the next list to still contain mowers I would have thought.

There were still a couple of mowers in Chichester up until fairly recently.
Herman - MP for all! :)

Got a dyson DC07 at my local store for 138. Many thanks to all you MSEs for tha list! ;D

Just out of curiosity - which part of the country did you find that?

MarkR - I've actually only had one phone picked up so far, and the others are for rather confused family members/friends - many of whom can't get their heads around it all!! Think the friend who bagged the 3 pack did best tho, as it has an answerphone on - bonus!! ;D
  • Here's a question for one of you really experienced argosites.
There was only one thing that I saw on the RO list that I would have liked and that was a Qualcast mower which I didn't get and now see that there are no mowers in the present catalogue so consequently wont be on the next RO list. So does anyone know if it's normal for the Winter catalogue to be void of mowers and be back in the Spring/Summer one or do you think that is the end of mowers?

Think I know someone who has a Qualcast Concorde spare. But postage cost from N.Ireland would probably be prohibitive ::)

  • What ever you do, do not buy any Kane GPS navigator items as the company have gone into liquidation and no longer support any software sold by this company. in effect if you did buy this item return it ASAP with receipt. It would be like buying a road atlas 10 years ago and then using it to plan your trip, well out of date. I bought one from a member of this site not knowing this and found out that it is worthless, i sold it on e-bay before i was told about Kane going into liquidation, i informed the buyer on E-bay but fortunately for me he was still willing to go ahead with the purchase.
    Regards

    Drew

Don't want to cause an argument, but the Kane GPS software is about 2 years old - so the maps are only 2 years out of date ;D ;D
Still ok for most planning, and you get a GPS receiver and 128mb CF flash and a jacket for this price - so it's not a bad offer! esp. if you can get tomtom3 maps from ebay for a few quid as the gps stuff works with this.
just an observation - no offence meant!

Parcelforce have an offer on at the mo.......only slight downside is that you have to conduct it through EBAY....so just create a FIXED PRICE listing and send the URL link to the buyer.....add a few pounds for sellers fees...itll be a much cheaper than sending any other way...most couriers including https://www.parcel2go.com charge alot for heavy items

    just an idea..........

405-0214 at 127 - you have selected the... Bromsgrove store (that's in the Midlands in case you don't know).

  • So where do you get the actual item code from? I have checked out a few items that do not show in the current catalogue so is there any way to find out what the item code is so i can call the ring and reserve line?
