Well this looks like a bargain to me, but if you have seen something similar, cheaper then please let me know.

For those that maybe do want one of these...make sure you are queing outside for them to open....because I'm sure these will go like hotcakes!!

asda sell portable dvd players for under £100, sorry cannot remember the exact price.

i am waiting for the prices to dropp further and spec to increase, before buying

Yes I have seen cheaper one's but they tend to have a pitiful screen size and are quite bulky...

Tevion is Medion...Medion is Tevion...

I think they are probably the same, though I would be surprised if KwikSave would be able to beat Aldi on spec/price....so there may be some difference apart for simply cosmetics...

Does the Medion have DTS and 5:1/Coaxial out? (I would expect it to really as that is fairly standard). Also the TV above does apparently allow other inputs such as game machines.

this is the same machine as the Quicksave one earlier in the year which i have. That one went for £119 but did not have the carry bag in car charger etc.
It is a great machine plays everything & multi region.
To get the extras for £139 is a snip if not convinced I have also seen this machine In currys badged as a Ferguson for £299!!! happy queing....

I have this player and paid £10 quid more for it a few months ago when it was last in Aldi

even so its a great bit of kit, plays everything I have thrown at it including kodak picture discs, VCD, SVCD, DVD, KVCD copies ....basically everything

great picture, 3 hr rechargeable battery, all the leads you need, tiny remote control, and....

very very quiet long distance car journies, no more "are we there yet?"

cant recommend this highly enough, I klnow there are cheaper players about, but do they have a 7" screen amd will they play what you put in

Does the unit have a typical optical or coaxial out for DTS and Dolby Digital, or does it have a built in decoder from which it can connect (analogue) directly to a 6 speaker surround system?
