My Mom sent some of my presents back one time-and she ALWAYS stuck to her guns when I was grounded. I never got away with ANYTHING. Sheesh.

Afternoon all,

Am off work again today as for the 3rd time since having a flu jab I feel rough! I've got the shivers/aches/feel clammy. Been in bed most of the day, gonna get up and have a shower now as feel yuk!

Bunny - you hair is lovely, I did a temp dye a while back to a warm brown, I really liked it, I may just have to do it again. Is yours perm?

afternoon. Welcome to chez chaos. house seems to be getting more chaotic rather than less. 5 days and then the carpet goes down on day 6 and at the moment, the living room looks like a cross between a timber yard and a second hand tool shop......I have still to see the first paint brush to be yielded........

lots of baking to do for the open day tomorrow and trying to stay as busy as possible as it stops 'can you hold this' 'can you pass me that' which he was quite capable of holding or picking up whilst on his own!

I'm attempting panettone for the first time today and I'm going to use the bread machine to make the dough. hope it works as it's going to be available for free samples tomorrow along with some of twinks hob nobs and also eton mess.

Hey up everyone, i am munching on a mince pie at the moment..no logs in my house...although i nearly bought one today..

Poor Webitha, kids can be grotty at this time of year..i remember a couple of years ago in class..i refused to take a cheque off of a girl(school trip) Because of the rude way she had spoken to her mum in the classroom..i even said to the mum, if it had been one of mine i would have ripped the cheque up in front of her and not sent her on the trip..the girl said mum wouldn't dare do that..i replied well i am not taking the cheque until you have apologised to your mum..I told the secretary not to take it either! She was holding her ground for about a week, then caved in because i wouldn't and brought mum in to apologise to her in front of me properly..I think if mum had caved in there would have been nothing i could have done, but i wouldn't talk to a dog the way she talked to her mum..plus i didn't want a rude, snotty kid on the trip!

Mr.B got a bonus and we paid off our white goods which we bought a few months ago..Plus i got paid(not a lot)..I am only putting down the payments off the capital..every little helps!
