End of Orange Text Saver
I understand that Text Saver packs are no longer available and that this option is now replaced by 'Extras' which are paid for monthly. For similar number of texts (150/month) cost is £8/month. That compares with about £10/year with Text Saver. We have run our family's texting on Text Saver for a couple of years. This looks like losing me at least £200 per year. Any suggestions for best PAYG deals for very few phone calls, but several texts/day?

Try the o2 sim card with 300 free texts a month. You have to top up with £10 a month though, but you can use that on calls.

o2 online tariffs offer very good text bundles.
plus you can still get text savers from ebay (i sold one for £25 on 'buy it now' but many are going for over £30 but still worth it if you really use it)0
