link trading in old phone
Has anyone ever tried sending a non working phone as a trade in claiming cashback to link? Does anyone know if the companies actually check the phone to see if it is working or not?
I have an old Philips savvy which used to work perfectly before I kept into the drawer for like 3 years. I have just tried charging it now and its not working - it may be a dead battery. I thought it would be nice to get a tenner for this phone!
Cheers..

The Link didn't use to offer much for phones on trade in but may have changed.
Just take the phone in and say you have not charged the battery so there is no power left in it, I doubt they would bother checking it anyway as I think they just get recycled unless they decide to use it as a loan phone in store0 -
I recently send a non working phone, without a charger, as part of trade in offer and got £10.0
