Please help ~ Trying to download software

What happens is I when I go to download I get the application on my screen ready to download (exe file) and when I go to save it flashes very quickly and then there are two icons on my desktop. One is a "part" exe file that has just been downloaded and the other icon has no bytes in it at all.

Well I first tried this last night and I still had the same problem. Will have to get on to my ISP I think. Thanks for your help.

click the link, save it, leave it a couple of minutes to finish downloading before you start clicking things

Okay, try deleting them two files on your desktop and try the download again.

It sounds like you use Firefox? if so try clearing your private data. Tools > Clear private data, and check everything apart from saved passwords. That should clear any temp files that are making the browser think that it's already downloaded.

Tried that but it just won't do anything....pulling my hair out now!
