Off to France skiing on Saturday :j but am currently using a Tesco Value sim card so am not able to call or text when there.
Can i buy a 10Euro sim card when there and use that and if so what value of time will i get for my 10Euros?

The last time I looked I think that SIMs were about 30€ and you only got about 4€ credit but it may have changed.0

I take it that Tesco don't offer an International roaming on their sim card then?
How about one of the free O2 simcards that as you get £2.50 credit when you register the card and you can add international roaming bolt on for free (if it is still on offer) then just bin the card when you come home0 -

I'd suggest Orange with maybe the favourite number €3 for 20 minutes - and the €3 daily bolt-on of unlimited daytime or evening minutes - use both of these for a calling card access number

or take a look at SFR La Carte - see of you can figure out the bit about the calls limited to 30c each - it's for daytime, but I can't see the stuff about opt in or out, notice period etc
