Well, I'll think about it, I did start, but lost the plot a bit, a bit of a pun there. I'm not very self disciplined, so always put things off :o

I suppose with the precarious job situation, it might not be a bad idea to look at other options. Thing is, I have no idea where to start, who to contact.....and how you would get Angelina Jolie to play me in the film (dream on Piq:rotfl:) Could she be persuaded to put on weight to stay in character? would she let me snog her husband? and so on, see, the list of queries is endless...

Spurned on by your good self - I think - and only think - I made an extra payment to my loan today - only 10 quid - but (now don't laugh) never done it before so I road tested the 'transfer money to this account bit'. I dont trust these bank folks, most unreliable. So I will wait and see if it worked.

    Fantastic news about C/C :T :T :T

Fingers crossed for getting under 2k this month my lovely but if you can't don't worry too much as you are doing sooooo welll and it will happen very soon!

    xx

Actually did a box on the spreadsheet today, totaling all the savings I've made, which, in theory should go against the debt. Will report back on tomorrow's financial update. So I might be able to do it. Sub 2k on one card would feel great!

Well done! More often then not, I only pay £2 across, so don't think only £10. As you know, I always add the pennies to the amount to track how long it takes to travel between two accounts. So today I would have paid £10.09.

Actually, I like making lots of little payments, I get such pleasure out of two sheets of "thank you for your payment" from MBNA :rotfl:

Einstein would be very interested in meeting Mrs Norris, he gets on very well with the ladies, but even better with the gentlemen cats :o So if she wants the perfect male companion without commitment, he's the man....

  • Ah you see you are full of wisenesses (word prob not?!) I will steal that idea - and steal the do the update diary bit in a different colour.

Sorry won't steal it - will learn from your wise experience and follow your lead? Better?

Having called the scary cc people the interest is frozen - but worked out my loan rate is scary - so thank you for making me 'face' the terrible demons.

So this cat of yours..................our cat is interested in more details. She's normally terribly aloof but when I said he was called Einstien - she seemed impressed.

Doing the financial updates in a different colour is the only way to track back in a busy diary, no complaints there! And the date in pennies, helps a lot, especially if you pay the same amount across all the time. I used to pay £2 every day and was always worried one would get "lost" by MBNAm not that I don't trust them, you understand!

Well done on asking about the loan, is the rate negotiable in any way?

Einstein is the opposite of Einstein, I'm afraid, but he is very obedient, which is a very attractive character trait in a man, I always think. Sounds like Mrs Norris is thinking the same way :D He's very handsome, a pale apricot with cream stripes and fluffy, nearly long haired, but has missed the mark
