Giggling as I imagine trying to have the audacity to staple anything to the Captain's head.....
Missymoo, you are not too old to learn to ride, do be careful though, it is addictive (and expensive). Hamster has given some great advice, obviously a riding instructor in the making. Hopefully wearing more than socks and a thong....
Am much better thanks k2tog, had concussion due to bouncing on the pavement, also have a rather fetching black eye. Thank goodness I didn't knock any teeth out, can't afford the dentist's bill, certainly not after the garage bill for the car...Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Oh Piq, talk about eventful!!!!!
Really hope you are ok.
The Captain sounds like a real character. I think my horse is trying to subtley tell me to eff off with the fly mask, so I have done and instead horse will have to put up and shut up with the frequent application of lotions and potions to the ear-oles to stop the horse from headshaking the pesky midges away.
Ps - I wish it would rain. For me, for the horse, for the ground and for all the animals who are sweltering as there doesn't seem to be any let up from it.** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010

Thank you! I'm fine, headache gone, just need to lose the black eye and all will back to normal, if there is such a thing.
So, how do you put lotions on a horse's nose? The Captain always manages to blow it back all over me, naturally with added snot.... That's after I've hung off his head, which he has helpfully raised to it's full 7 foot height and swung me about a bit.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

You can get these sunblock sticks, some are coloured, usually for kids and I use that. Its all about being quick and fast. Otherwise horse thinks the thing is a carrot (as it comes in an orange tube) and I have nearly lost my fingers a few times. Its all a bit hit and miss really!** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010

The police are investigating, that seems to be it. Apparently it counts as a serious crime as I was knocked out and left lying in the street. The theft bit doesn't seem to be so important! Still, at least my shoulder didn't get damaged any further, see there are good things in life.
How are you lucielle, must pop back and interfere in your diary, will do that shortly....
