and captain - he must look like a giant compared with those wee ponies????

Waves from here too - glad my cooking is inspiring you - embrace the chocolate cake.

You coudl always make a batch of twinks hob nobs after using the oats in a hamster cage or in the cats litter tray first - send them to him as a special treat. :)

    Waving back :hello:

The miniatures only come up to his knees! don't know what he was thinking of!

Idiot boss is going to make a speech and give some sort of award, think I might have to get drunk at lunchtime to get through this.....

or can't you use oats and sugar in a body scrub thing.......then reuse them as hobnobs

first mix 8oz sugar with 8oz oats

Use vigoursly as a full over body scrub

COllect oats, add usual twinks ingredients - bake and wrap with a bow for his use only.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:You could also use one of those hair removing pads first, look a bit like sandpaper, to add some more roughage....

...am seriously considering writing an anonymous blog on his sayings, projects and effectiveness

  • You could do a tip for the day - ala 'office style'

My supervisors classic the other day was - 'Anyway Fay has the data on the harvesting for blah blah.' in a room fulll of people...............

To which I had to fudge something about projected yeilds.................................... cos we aren't harvesting that field until 2010.

Would have been easier to say - um Idiot - its not harvested yet - but not very PC.
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Ah I get that one or the equivalent " Piquant will now talk us through the Spot on branding strategy" when I was given the paper ten minutes before the meeting

...also every time there's a difficult question, guess who gets to answer it?

It's the speech and award business that's worrying me, the cakes were supposed to cheer people up....Nobody said it would be a good idea if gave a motivational speech  He is full of corporate gobbledegook, does all the sayings. Sometimes, we play word bingo in his meetings. I once won a fun sized mars bar for getting a full house!

I should have done the cake......

I got the award, I have written down the opening part of his speech, if anyone knows what this means please let me know!

"Most forward-looking companies invest in optional logistical matrix approaches and Piquant always follows this approach..." - fairly sure I don't as I have no idea what it means!

So I am employee of the week...

Didn't get on here at all over the weekend, the time just flew past!

Did a bit of tidying up in the garden, bit half-hearted, it's a huge task, it's so overgrown. Took the Captain out for a long hack, we met a sheep that decided to charge out at us through a hedge  Luckily, it was more scared of the Captain than he was of it and it charged back again!

Went to a friends for a pot luck dinner, it was curry themed so I made a coconut dhal and bombay potatoes. Not ideal diet food, but I have lost 2lbs this week :T only another 26lbs to go.
