Who on Earth gets these ideas? Is your special boss on overtime Piq? Will the beatings continue until morale improves? Poor you!
Oh gosh, I mentioned beatings in front of Hamster.....

my boss walks all the way from his office , where he has a fan on full, two pc's & the light to walk around turning off lights in other departments.......

He has asked about money saving ideas before but apparently low energy bulbs and water hippos arent the way to go........

I think we could heat work from the methane that must come off all the carp he spouts!!! :rotfl: :D

Ah hamster, there you are...I was worried that I'd left you in your corner too long:rolleyes: Where have you been???? off with your emoticons?

You realise neither of us will ever be a boss, with the best will in the world neither of us are stupid enough ;)

Idiot boss' latest idea is to raise morale in the team. He has noticed that people are less than happy with his half baked reasons for redundancy. So he has declared cake friday. The idea being that the teams will take ten minutes out to socialise with cake and a cup of tea (with no milk or sugar) ...and you have to bring your own cake - there does not seem to be an emoticon for overload sarcasm/disbelief.....

    daily update

The £27 winnings from the freebie scratchcard has landed and I've paid it to the card. Not bad takings for nothing...

Day 2 of fit in summer clothes and/or interview suit is going well, must have lost tons by now, can any of you see the difference yet? I think I can do this now I've recognised that it's work that's making me miserable and therefore fat through comfort eating and baking.

Bought the old pedometer out of retirement, got it a free battery from work :o:T and will make sure I add walking at lunchtime to my daily repetoire

  • she also did a 3 type of tomato,rocket & basil salad ,,,,,,:T

okay so it was in a round loaf with the top cut off , the inside made into croutons cooked in lashings of olive oil & garlic ,
    sliced yellow pepper,
roasted tomatoes cooked with balsamic and sugar ,
raw cherries and [STRIKE]another I forget[/STRIKE], sun blushed
tossed with the rocket and croutons , then stuffed back in the loaf. :T

The loaf is best slightly old , just so it can soak up the juices (oil).:T
