Cadbury's Dairy Milk - Asda Rip Off!

On sunday i bought a 400g block of dairy milk chocolate at Asda Gosforth. I paid £2.20 (i still have the reciept)
last night, me and OH went into the same Asda and the same chocolate is now £3.36!!!
It is shown as the same price on the Asda website.
The 400g blocks of the other varieties (whole nut and fruit & nut) are only £2.20 and £2.13 respectively.
I have emailed Asda customer service, as a price increase of £1.16 overnight is disgusting. I had wanted to get some of those as stocking fillers, but there is no way i'd get them now! As much as I hate Sainsbury's, they still have the 400g blocks for £2.27.

Exactly what stores do..I was looking to buy a netbook the other week and it suddenly increased in price I'm betting it comes down for the "sales""The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

I work for a food retailer and Cadburys are increasing their cost prices, some of which will obviously get passed onto the customer, however I can assure you they are not increasing them by that much!! I think it's probably a typo by whoever keys the retails!!
Anyway, what's wrong with a satsuma and a lump of coal?!?0 -
