Hi All,
Sorry I've not posted on here in the last couple of days, its just that I have the Black Death!!!
I have lost my voice, and until this morning, I could not gather up the energy to do anything!
Today I feel a bit better, so I have:
Not spent any money (haven't left the house for 4 days)
Checked my online banking
Not been to work (I think that I will have all week off) - the only downside is that I will get SSP rather than full wages (I had budgeted for a full month)
Think that is about it, my hubby will be here to take me to Boots for Drugs (using points from my card of course)
Hope everyone has a great evening.
Take care,

:hello: Hello to everyone!
I am reading this thread to cheer me up after a terrible day at work. I am so fed up there  . However, I do remember to be pleased to have job in this climate when so many are losing theirs which I am so sorry about for you _pale_ .
Right today I have:
Posted 2 old mobiles to environfone (won't get much for them but better than nothing!):D
Registered with Pinecones:D
Had a NSD:j
Took a HM lunch to work;)
Having a storecupboard tea
Will ring mum later with free mobile mins:D
Not too bad then afterall. Isn't funny how many small things we can do that don't mean trying too much? Now I am concentrating on the NSDs I have to really think about not going to Mr T at lunchtime for a 'look' and this is making me focus on the storecupboard HM meals for lunch and dinner. It is getting easier as time goes on but I still need to try hard.
Apologies for the fedup tone tonight as I really do feel fed up. Am going to make some chocolate cornflake buns to cheer me up and my work friends tomorrow as I could really do with some chocolate!
Hope to be more cheery tomorrow!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
You're on a roll now!! all this money! Well done on getting your charges back, that takes a fair amount of determination :T
I've learnt to be very VERY stubborn and never take no for an answer
When a bank says, "No" they really mean, "Send us another 3 letters and we'll give in and give you your money back".
I've still got a complaint in with the FOS for miss-sold PPI by Sainsburys, and I'm awaiting a response from Egg over my 1st letter to them regarding miss-sold PPI. If I'm successful with those, both credit cards will be closed instantly and leave me with one solitary credit card left :j (Then again, can't count my chickens!)Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Hello everyone :hello:
Today I have:
- Checked online banking
- Paid phone bill
- Done surveys that have come in
- Daily clicks
- Bought youngest daughter a couple of birthday pressies from the Early Learning Centre and used 20% off voucher
- Registered with Pinecone (finally!)
- Put money in Sealed Pot and £2 pot
- Eaten store cupboard meals
- Dried clothes on radiators
- Persuaded DH to drop ready made cigs and join me smoking roll-ups. Need to calculate the savings :j
Think that's it!Sealed Pot #418 ('09 £414.12) ('10 £550.90) ('11 £440.60)0
