Morning everyone, hope its a nice morning where you are, its very frosty here but bright sun making the frost sparkle on the trees:

Today I have/will:-

Check my bank account on 'tinternet - done.

Make Scotch broth in my slow cooker - on.

Make biscuits and possibly a loaf later.

Not spend anything - no plans to go out at all, with OH not so good it difficult to get out. When I do its a case of run and get what I want and get home as quickly as possible. Edited - recieved a long awaited tax refund, all of £28.38, so nipped to the PO to pay it into the bank, posted two cards 54p.

See what surveys I can find to do for cash.

Morning Guys,

I had a mixed load of post today:
*Firstly a ltter from my old work rejecting my appeal, BOOO!
*then opened up a giro :j
Turns out that the people in Tax credits have some brains and u get 4 weeks money after u've stopped work to help with the transaction to benefits.I wish they had told me!

So today I will/have:
* Cash giro done
* Pay off old overdue electric bill done
* Buy some essential items like bread and cerial! done
* Buy 2 2nd class stamps for the last of my Xmas cards done
* put rest of giro into current account done
*check online banking done
*update spreadsheet
*stick to meal plan

I am feel so much better now, as have enough money to get through this :cool:

I have also gone into woolworths and spent the left over money from XMIL on a duvet cover set and some tupperwear. Feeling very grown up!!!!

- I have checked online banking (Dhs and mine) and glad to see Egg money only took out £400 instead of the £1200 we thought was going out!!
- Checked my account and remembered i need to return some stuff so will have about £80 going back into my account
- have 2 assignments to do for tomorrow!
- freezer/storecupboard lunch (fishfinger butties) and dinner
- clean up house as its a tip!
ooooh, and the socks are bogey green, woolly and v slippery on my laminate flooring!

Morning All :hello: It's sunny and cold here, and I have burgundy & grey socks - that's about as exciting as it gets

I'm amazed at the number of people who set off in their cars when they cannot possibly see well enough! Although it goes against the MSE grain my engine runs until I've cleaned all my windows of frost. I saw a paperboy (he delivers papers, he's not made of paper) nearly knocked down by a car because their side windows were obscured by frost & condensation. They could see ahead, but when they turned left :eek: (I'll get off my self righteous soap box now )

So today I have/will:

• brought in lunch - HM bread
• going to Lidl to get supplies for the family party this weekend - and I remembered to go through my cupboards to ensure I don't buy more of what I already have eg mincemeat
• go to gym to use my membership (too lazy last night )
• Decided to freeze half the loaf I made, and defrost it Thursday for the 2nd half of the week I find I'm wasting too much bread because it goes stale so fast.
• do my on-line banking
• Oh, I almost forgot I listed 4 more things on e-bay. The first 3 finish today and all have bids & loads of watchers. I'll add another 3 or 4 tonight.

Cold and frosty again in Manchester - at least its better than rain!

Today I will/have...

• Free lunch in work with clients - boring chat but nice grub!
• Have tea from store cupboard - maybe make 5 bean chilli to use up all the fresh veg in the fridge?
• Do Online Mr S shop for next week delivery
• Check banks, quidco etc - all ok but mum owes me £140 (she'll pay it in on Friday but it makes my account looks less healthy)
• Do surveys
• Walk dog for free exercise (at least its not raining today - got wet 3 times yesterday:mad: )
• Find ISA paperwork and phone them to see how much its worth
• Wash sleeping bag ready for Xmas guests - was going to buy a new one but have decided that for 2 nights my sister can slum in it the old one!:p
• Have a look on the Vodafone website to choose my upgraded phone - free new toy!
• Check to see how much I'll get for "recycling" the old one on Envirofone etc

Hi everyone, i just had to agree with you there Olive. One of my bugbears too..and lack of indicating at roundabouts or junctions:mad:

Well today, i will spend vouchers on final pressies and am looking on Boots site to maximise points for birthdays in Jan and Feb..:o at least sales will be on.
Have bought a few loaves of bread which were reduced last night, so five for £1 not bad, but i prefer HM. So this afternoon i will be trying out a variety of sandwich fillings found on oldstyle and premaking sandwiches for rest of week.
Still have to check online banking and then that will be me for today.

Good morning everyone,

I've come back to work today and need some motivation to keep going! So, today I will:

• See if my new gas and electric bills have been produced. Am really worried about how much these will be.
• Charge my phone and Ipod at work
• Buy my secret santa gift on the way home from work
• Another free dinner tonight courtesy of the OH's family. This wedding is really not helping my waistline!

Apart from a coffee this afternoon I will attempt a NSD (that's a LSD really, I suppose)
PAcked up and sent off my latest book sale on amazon
WIll do some clicks and any surveys that come in, as well as slicing some more pie - aim for today is to get to three stars.
I'm feeling really christmassy today,. Bring it on!
