Need High Minutes And Texts Whats Best Offers On 3g or Anywhere Please?
What and where is the best deal for 3g? contract runs out in february and is presently talk and text 900 inclusive of 150 texts but have 200 more texts added on top. This present contract was for 12 months half price through phones4u you but I can't find any offers similar or even better now. The lg hanset hasnt been very good and niether was the motorola one before that. It doesnt have to be the trendiest it just has to work reliably and be cheap to run as its for my student daughter and although 3g can be a pain sometimes she needs big minutes and texts.
If theres any other offers on that arent 3g either but are good I'd be interested to know
Thanx

The 3 offers aren't as tempting as they used to be.
If you can supply your own handset the sim only tariffs are good value.
e.g. 800mins 1000 texts for £45
Have a look here
There only min 30 day contracts so you can leave after 30 days notice.0 -
Ive just got the o2 online 100 sim only pay monthly 30day contract. You get 200 Free anytime mins and 1000 text messages for £25, but you need a phone!A dAy WiThOuT wInE iS lIkE a DaY wItHoUt SuNsHiNe0

She only has the motorola phone and the lg one that she got from 3g though and they struggled to get through one year so I'm not sure if they would do. She definitely needs more than 200 mins as shes at uni and has no landline.
Is there no one doing the offers for 900 talk and txt with 3g similar to the 12 months half price she had before?Thanx

had this from reesit's site,
http://www.reestitmutton.co.uk/MOBILES/detail.php?aid=137
400 xnet any time
25 video mins
200 texts
works out £12.99 per month,a please & thank you is all it takes :wave:0 -
Most of the offers for 3g now are video talk and text not just talk and text so they are trying to push people to use video more.
I'm only looking for talk and text as its a waste of money when the videos not going to be used. Maybe when the present contract is cancelled they might offer something to encourage staying but last year they were useless in thier offer so it was cheaper to cancel that contact and re-start a new one at 12 months half price and free handsetThanx

This may be right for you: http://www.just3g.co.uk/8380tariffs.html
T&T 900 (750 voice, 150 text) 12 month for £40 a month - 10 months at £3.99 - £40 bonus. Effectively you're only paying for 2 months or £80 for the whole year. This includes the phone and a free bluetooth headset.0 -
Thanx I've saved the page I'll look into it properly a bit later but also the present contract runs out later next month so I'll see if they still have it then
I dont really like having to claim cashback 3 times though its such a load of messing around and often chasing up and stress especially in a 13th month of 12 month contract. The phones4u one was great really, it was just 1 cashback at 6 months and no time limit in which to claim it which I thought was great. If they had anything decent I'd stay with phones4u, in fact I may ask them to match something if I find it. 1 cashback at 6 months was a big relief after messing around with onestopphoneshop for the previous year
The above one from just3g sounds a bit weird though for £80 for the whole year? sounds a bit unbelievableThanx

No cashback to worry about eitherHardcore moneysaver0 -
My impression is that these cashback offers put so many obstacles in your way to reduce the number of people claiming. The greater the hassle the fewer people will actually bother to do it therefore the deals can be better. There is a good chance that they factor this into their calculations and make hardly any money on the people that claim, while they still make their margin on the non-claimers.
If you like you can put a value on your time doing this: say 1, even 2 hours spent per claim x 3 - if you can save £100+ (make it gross of tax if you like) I think it's worthwhile for most people.
What is that fabulous O2 deal by the way? £35*18=£630 or am I missing something? Not that cheap if you ask me.0 -
Well has anyone used just3g before on here? Its not just the inconvenience of getting 3 lots of cashback its if you actually end up getting it at all otherwise the bargain isnt such a bargain in the end if you get ripped off. So if anyones used just3g before please let us know
ThanxThanx
