Theres a seller who's item I am watching and seriously considering buying. But for an Angel Tree Topper, p&p is £15.00 (I have asked for a p&p breakdown but no reply yet...)
Heres the interesting bit....
Seller's payment instructions
PAYPALONLY PLEASE. Worlwide customers please make contact regarding postage costs. A certificate of posting will be collected for all items but the option of signed for delivery for an extra pound is strongly recommended in which case a full refund can be given in the event of non delivery. Please make contact/ payment within three days of winning item.Non payments will be reported to ebay and appropriate feedback given. Many Thanks for your custom which is greatly appreciated.

Why do people do this? Surely people should know by now that you need to send by recorded/special delivery to protect yourselves as well as the customer.
The customer will pick the cheapest option, knowing they can do a paypal claim if not received. ridicious. No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

My parents are waaaaay to straight. They think it would be wrong to get the item and claim back. lol
I do their ebay buisness and we've been rolled over so many times (We send everything tracked but the biggest thing atm is saying the item is faulty, returning, getting a refund even though the Item is perfect working order [Easier to appease the customer then argue])0 -

If buyers want to be dishonest that's up to them.
The nonchalant attitude expressed by some on here to manipulating the system is bizarre and somewhat worrying.0 -

Because most people on here have been done over and found out the hard way.
Buyers being dishonest doesn't help us sellers, and sending by recorded is one way to protect ourselves. No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

I was stung the other day P&P was £8.00. He said other courier and as it was a digital camera I was happy to pay that much for it to be couriered. Must to my discuss it arrivd not even packaged that well and the postage cost £3.20. Needless to say I contacted him and actually got £4 refunded. They take there chances these sellers.0

Good for you, I agree with sellers adding the costs on for envelopes and petrol to the post office but not to add loads of profit on.No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

I know!!! The item costs less then the p&p. It one of the reasons why we haven't bought the item, costs are just too steap for a tree angel. I don't mind if they add on postage, fuel etc... But I don't see it being unreasonable to ask for a breakdown.0 -
