Morning all ... the hangover has arrived :rotfl:

OH and I had our Christmas night out last night and I drank far far far too much  we'll only be out again over Christmas if any of our lovely families give us Christmas money and we need to save that for NYE really as we have 2 tickets to a NYE night but no spends

Lots of present delivering to do today whilst I'm off work ... have to take all of OH's family's presents as we're spending Christmas day with my family this year, and he has a BIG family. There's about 20 presents for them and only about 5 for my family so under the tree will be bare :rotfl: also have to take presents round to my friends houses as after the weekend I'm working all the way up to Christmas so won't have time.

AND to top it all off I'm soooooo behind on the comps it's ridiculous and my house still needs it pre Christmas clean ... and I have to do it all feeling this self inflictedly rough

  • hey. sorry for being so grumpy yesterday :o
I have woken up this morning and feel a completely different person. and oh says he feels the same too. This bug we've had has been the weirdest thing ever....properly messed with our heads....

but we're still going on our weekened away :)

Katie, Exeter Cathedral is beautiful. I havent been in there for a few hours cos you have to pay now, but it's still one of those places that can take your breath away. Hope you enjoy seeing Will. xxxx

And T my other predicament has been sorted now xxxxxxxx

Morning All (just), have been up for a while just not on here though. Managed to goto bed really early last night for me (10pm) as I was feeling a bit rough & woke all through the night with such a sore throat it felt like someone had been down there with sandpaper! Nose is starting to stream & I'm coughing like a good'un. Head feels like it is stuck in a bank of heavy fog, thought process is equally slow today.

I was starting to wonder where my Christmas illness was this year :rotfl: as it seems each year for ages I have been unwell over the Christmas period. Oh well, at least I get to sit with all you lot in the 'ill corner' of the Compers Inn! :D

But chin up, I've got my work 'do' on Monday night so BF is keeping me dosed up with the cheap version of the Lemsip drinks & cups of tea in between times. Will be looking to eat soft stuff today to avoid any possibility of scratching an already sore-beyond-belief throat

Better start my dailies & advents :)

Thanks Toni just received another entry into the draw. Just received another 3 bottle openers, only expecting 2 and I've already had one. Trying to decide what to do next, wrap presents, clean the house or go for a walk while the suns shinning.
Going to Asda later this afternoon, got visitors and mate to fit new kitchen sink tomorrow.
