I've had loads of parcels. Thank you everyone.

Much as I love Dr Sally she has cost me money.

When she discovered my diabetes she prescribed me tablets for it. I asked her whether I would now get free prescriptions and she said no because I wasn't taking insulin. So I applied for a season ticket for about £10 a month.

Then I did some research and found that folk with diabetes "not treated by diet alone" DID qualify for free scripts. I printed out the evidence for her and she was so apologetic. :rotfl: So I filled the application form in for her to sign and send off.

This of course made me late leaving the surgery and left me standing in the cold for an hour. :rotfl:

I think there's a moral in there somewhere. Maybe not to take anything on trust from experts.

Snidely exactly same thing happend to my oh , we had also just paid for full years season ticket, so i hope this helps you. i rang them up and explained and was asked to send in proof of exemption due to diabetes and they refunded from date of diagnosis they sent us a cheque for it. so try ringing them xxxx
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.

Evening all. Sounds like many are poorly... hope you all get better soon. I'm feeling much better now, just a bit snotty that's all!

Had my work Christmas dinner today, was v yummy. Discovered the joys of chocolate and chilli mousse - mmmmmm! :):) Two days off now then in Monday and Tues the off for 10 days - excellent! :):)

Just seen Kippers thread for 2009 - excellent idea. I know, I'm running late on EVERYTHING at the moment, totally behind on comps, housework, sleep etc etc... I'm sure I'll catch up at some point!

  • Awww, so sorry easter - I hope things get better for you soon. xxx

PMS - I have an apology to make. :o
I have only just noticed your lovely Christmas card, cos OH went up to the house for the parcel, opened it up & brought it back home for me. I put it on the tree where it has pride of place at the front.

Then last night, I was clearing the mail down & was just about to chuck your envelope away when I looked inside & found said card!!

OH never even told me there was one - numpty that he is!!

Anyway, I have it now, so thank so much!! xx

Just seen this, glad you liked it all hun. Just had DH shouting at me cos he's fed up with his PS3 (don't go there), DD had 2 friends for tea which then turned into WW3 & I feel like screaming tbh!!!!
2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please

OMG!! Sorry guys but I might have to take MSErs off my facebook due to people trying to add my other friends and sending them messages saying that they are keen compers from MSE, he has now set up a group asking what MSE compers are & even though he doesn't know it's cause of me, I am so embarrassed!!
