  • Hey Iwanna ... i had the sickness flu bug and i know exactly how you feel, I didn't leave my bed for 6 days, its rubbish. Also I over did it when i should have been recovering and now i've got a cold after thinking i was better!

I would juts rest, get as much vitamin c in you as possible and do anything that makes you feel better - day time TV, comps, just sleeping for hours or baths ... It does pass eventually but it is a really nasty bug so big hugs for you

SFH - An hour?! thats shocking!

  • I feel bad for you Iwanna cos I'm just getting over it & it was horrendous!

I literally got up to drop Tom off at school, then went back to bed again until it was pretty much time to pick him up.
House was a mess, I was a mess but I really didn't have the energy to do anything.

Just hold tight - it will hopefully all be over soon & you'll feel better in time for Xmas. xxxx

I had to wait for an hour for a cab yesterday after a Doctor's appointment. They were all taking kids home from school. Bleeding cold it was too. :rotfl:

Well managed to drap myself away from my laptop to go up the school
Tidied my PTA Shed and paperwork
Went to my class (that I am governor for) gave them some books for the class (that I have won during the year ) and chocolate, they loved them
Then went to my DD class only to find that someone had stolen another childs DS, horrified as not only do I know the teachers in the class well but the parent of the child, so mucked in to help looking around the classroom, as all bags and children were searched. We didnt find it, I feel sorry for the child to start Xmas with this, cannot believe that someone could do that, I just hope the parent of the child with it does the honourable thing and return it! What a S*** end to the term, the teacher and ta cannot believe it either.

So I am now sitting here having dropped my dd at a friend, trying to work out what to wear for the works meal tonight. Its cold so wont be anything too skimpy, I dont like feeling cold!
