LTSB Classic Plus now 3%? (bonus was not fixed?)

Hi there,
I just called LTSB Phone Banking today, and at a later stage, I just asked them to confirm the new interest rate that applies to my account.
The person speaking to me confirmed that it is only 3%. I asked him about the bonus that we have in June - he put me on hold, spoke to a manager and told me that in June, it was 6% - but it doesn't say in the advertisement that it's fixed or there's any fixed bonuses (or fixed term bonuses) and hence, mine is definitely 3% (no bonuses or anything).
Can anyone confirm with me if that is really the case??
Thanks!

It was a fixed 2% bonus for one year, till Jun 09. The present rate for those that took it up is therefore 5%.0

Ahh thanks.
So you meant the agent (and the manager that he supposedly spoke to) gave incorrect information?0 -

Bother. Looks like we'll be going through the 'they haven't credited the correct amount of interest' threads again.
(Incidentally, more confirmation in that exact thread, starting at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=15853753#post15853753)Conjugating the verb 'to be":

I also called today to clarify this and was told the rate on my account was 3%. I mentioned that I thought I had a 1 year 2% bonus and asked if my rate was really 5% and the LTSB operator said no, my rate is 3% according to their information. Not very impressive.0
