Quite agree, surely bulter's has done his civic duty and reported this crime no need to hang around anymore as I'm sure there are other breaches of forum etiquette he could better spend his time searching for.

I just remind folk what Butlers posted originally... nothing malicious in that, just politely stating a fact... really no need for some of the responses in this thread... :rolleyes:0 -
<ponders expressions like...get a life...don't sweat the small stuff.... etc etc> So glad that we have people like you who are so rigorous in their reading of every post - must be a wonderful way to spend time.
... and that sort of post really riles me... we all contribute to life in our own unique ways... and equally to this MSE community... MSE is a great way to spend time; who are you to tell anyone to "get a life"? :mad:0 -

I know for a fact Butlers makes a huge effort to report spammers on this forum... MSE is a great way to spend time; who are you to tell anyone to "get a life"?

Fair point but it can be off putting to new members if they get linched for one slight problem. Would it not be better to PM the member instead, that way the thread does not get out of hand. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -
The problem with PM'ing the OP is they can't actually move it or delete it...
As for the lynch mob... I think they were after Butlers... :rotfl:
ps. ged... my edit on post number 44 was obviously made when you were replying... I knew that bit didn't make sense so removed the reference to spammers...0 -
