Cheshire BS and Icesave

I've got my money, got my certificate and am now looking at putting my money elsewhere.... I've decided to put it in a Cheshire BS 12month fixed rate ISA at 4.5% Having just called them to sort it all out i'm not convinced that they are 100% certain how this is going to work. They are sending me all the forms I need but the gent on the phone said that he hasn't heard of this before, and wasn't sure how it works.

Has anyone transferred to Cheshire who was an Icesave type or is anyone going to and had more info than I have?

I don't want this to become a long drawn out process and if it is i'll look elsewhere.... But i'm sure it can't be that difficult ;)

The certificate should act as a transfer, just as if it was a normal transfer from a previous ISA manager - you will need to return it to them with their documentation and the cheque for your Icesave funds.

you can download and print the forms yourself and send it.

All you need is a new app form and the transfer form off their site.

I have just applied for the Cheshire fixed rate ISA. The lady I spoke to on their helpline was fully aware of the Icesave situation and advised that I only needed to send the Icesvae Cert, cheque and the downloaded application form. A transfer form was not required as the money was being provided via a personal cheque.
