Taxis Final Push!!!!

Just phoned vets and Tess is fine and having a little sleep (lucky girl) and I can pick her up at 4.30pm.

I hope so too.She'll probably be quiet and not like me very much as she has been to the vets about 5 times in 6 weeks and she doesn't like them.It's for her own good though and hopefully won't go for another 10 days and that should be it then for a while.

Morning all..hope everyone is ok.Wasn't about much last night as I was sleeping most of it.
Tess was out of it until 1.30am ...she only started coming round at that time and was still unsteady on her feet but managed to eat a little food.She was refusing water so I gave her a couple of satsumas...this morning she's had some food and her painkillers and a little water and is back asleep again....poor love!!!
Not a lot of debtbusting going on as DH said for me to stay off this weekend to keep an eye on the dog.Have been to PO this morning to do banking and post the offer letter back to solicitors so it's just a case of waiting for the cheques now so hopefully not too long now.
Think what we'll be doing is paying the offset money to the tax bill and paying the compensation and loss of earnings to the CC as both CCs come off interest free july and august...so want to clear both of them in that time.

By you saying you were asleep last night does this mean you are back to a normal sleeping pattern?

I know it isn't brilliant that you are not working - but giving yourself the extra day recovering is good!

Aftrnoon Dragon...hope you're feeling a bit better today.
I'm not exactly back to normal sleep wise yet but getting there.I was so exhauxted that I slept from 7ish to 11.30ish then from about 3ish till 9am..so loads of sleep.I needed it as I was so exhausted yesterday.If I can stay awake now and go to bed at a reasonable hour then it should sort itself out.
RE;The money ..that will be it all when it comes through.Both offers are now signed and sent back to the solicitors so we'll have £1800 comp and £787 loss of earnings..so at least it'll be over and we can pay it off the bills.I can't see it being too long as these are figures that have been offered by the insurer so it's probably just a case of sending the cheques out.

Good news on the accident money being sorted - hopefully you can move on from it and start the year afresh without that hanging over you...with that and the hol looks like a good start to the new year! hope the hound is ok today - they do tend to be a wee bit sore and sorry for themselves after so lots of hugs needed me thinks. Hope you get the sleep sorted soon...nothing worse!

That's what I was thinking and if I can get them in the bank before going away at least I can sort paying them off debt in jan.
