Anything exciting planned for the weekend then?

Nothing at all....just keeping an eye on the dog as she's still very dopey. She's flat out still. The weather is cold and wet so no point in going out even window shopping. Will probably do some housework and chill out.

I could have sworn I saw a swear word in there that the filter didn't pick up, begins with "H" and ends with "K" :rotfl:

    Hi all...
Nothing to report really.I haven't done much today yet.Tess is not too bad. She's not eating or drinking a lot but has her lively moments.
Going to hoover the whole house in a bit and I have the washing and drying on though still plenty to do yet.
The worse job I've to do today (if I can manage to do it) is pull out the washer and dryer (the dryer is on top of the washer) as I think the hose from the drier has come out because the kitchen is quite steamy and I can smell laundry.!!!..it's awkard to do as it's in a very small place and I also have to move loads of stuff.
Nothing paid off today.I'm on a slow start on this challenge as my loans don't start coming out until 20th of the month onwards and I haven't had anything to overpay with as I've needed the money about £450 for the vets this month.I can't wait until Januaary when I can make some serious overpayments.

ah but your slow start to the challenge makes the rest of us think that we have a chance!!! Lulling us into a false sense of security, really!!

Think I'll forget about the hoovering as just done the dryer/washing machine job and I'm knackered...the pipe had come off the dryer...so that's fixed now. Will do all the hoovering tomorrow night after I get home from work.

Sounds like a good plan to me - sit and tickle the pooch behind the ears instead :D

    Hi Taxi.

Hope Tess is feeling better and you are more rested.
Would the insurance company make a direct payment into your bank account, might save you waiting for the cheque to appear and then clear?
