Hey Taxi - hope you are ok, can completely sympathise with you. We are down about 1k a month at the min and unfortunately our expenses havent dropped by the same rate! As others have said drop to minimum payments and hopefully things will begin to pick up later in the year.
A few of our debts have defaulted and our with debt collectors but its not always a bad thing - our credit rating is screwed but interest and charges are frozen and we are currently negotiating some decent settlements.
Anyways keep smiling x x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

I can't really do a SOA as everything changes on a daily basis...eg: our income and then expenses such as Car repairs and tyres, servicing, diesel etc.
Any SOA is not accurate to the last penny. But you can take last year, average it over a month and give a reasonable stab at your costs, if nothing else.
Not doing one at all is the least accurate option."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'
"Blowing your mind, 'cause you know what you'll find, when you're looking for things in the sky." OMD 'Julia's Song'0 -
It will improve, Spring is just round the corner.
We never haulted through January, busier than December, I am not joking.
Bit quieter this month but not unbearable. One thing for sure it will soon pick up.£2 coin/ £460 -
Thanks all...sorry to hear that you are in the same boat Penguin.I feel for you.
ZTD...the SOA won't work as I cannot possibly guess what income will come in.
I know what the outgoings are for carloan, subs, insurance, road tax,...as this is pretty much static.
Diesel ,tyres and servicing, income tax is in proportion to the take.....
Obviously the difference is profit which is what runs the house pays debt etc...so taking an average from last year on any month is quite useless today as the take is lower.
Will keep my fingers cossed for myself, penguins DH and BTM that it is only the jan /feb lull...0 -

I hope u dont think I'm being cheeky, but I know ur cards are presently at 0%, but can you not look into a "life for balance", its stupid, but one (she says trying to hide the others) the Halifax, bear in mind my available balance is £100, I think my apr is 19.9%, they have just offered me a life for balance at 5.4%....lovely in theory, but not enuf space to move andmy credit rating is poor.
I know its half term down here, but its not long to Easter, and things should be back to normal by then, I hope you can try and ride out Feb and Mar till then. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thanks I will start to have a look about .I have a Barclaycard with £8000+ limit(empty) maybe I'll be able to shuffle it there the 0% runsout july on Virgin and aug on A+L....I can see me managing to clear A+L.
I also have the tax bill july so will have to pay that.( haven't managed to put anything away for that yet) but really do need to ASAP.
It's the mad panic over the Virgin one as usually I can manage loads off the cards by living fugally etc.
Have a good day everyone xx0 -
Evening all..this is the first chance I've had to get on here tonight!!!
DS3 came for his tea and then at 9.30pm whilst he was here DS2(the one in the Navy) showed up and he's here until sunday so he's having his tea here as well and has put £25 in the pot.
So I not only have the task of making SW EE..plan meals...I'm feeding 4/5 people a day so need some cheapish recipes.
I have just roasted a chicken for tomorrow and peeled some potatoes for roasties and that will served with veg and gravy.
They've had stewed steak, new pots, sprouts, green beans ,carrots and gravy today.
yesterday was lentil and carrot soup.
I had some lentil soup left (enough for 2 generous portions) and some stewed staek left (enough for 2 portions) so I have frozen them.
Went to work and it was quite quiet but better than nothing...got 50p +10p on scratchies today and that's about it...0 -
So its you getting the 50p scratchcards, I just seem to get the 5p and 10p ones, but its free money, so wont complain xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
