Thats great! I've been going at my fireplace this morning with the little scraper, and feeling very good about clearing it up. I'm glad those doors and that hallway look nice.

Hi everyone..roasting hot and tired!!!...alarm went off at 7am..I got up went downstairs and fell asleep on the sofa until 9.30am...lol..rushed out thinking I'd have a crap day...only for it to be absolutely manic(that manic that I couldn't get anything to eat or go to the loo)..and took £112 up until 3.30pm ..so that was good for 5 1/2 hours ...the traffic was unbelievable as it was the air show today...I had to come home at 3.30pm as I thought I was going to pass out in the heat and not having had anything to eat or drink and I was dying for the loo....had a brew and my tea and then needed to nip to the office to put my subs cheque in....came back hoovered downstairs, fed both dogs and gave them both fresh water....put a washload on and am going to try and rest for a bit now.
DH is at work now...he can deal with all the traffic now..lol..
I've an appointment at 9.40am tomorrow so don't know yet whether I'm going to work tomorrow or not....will decide that later..
Hope you're all having a good day

boy that sounds like a good day work wise. We've only done boring stuff today, shopping (how did it get to 60 odd quid?), OH has tidied up the back garden which looks fab and i've slaved inside which you can't tell.

Thanks all...just having a brew and then on to DRs....I don't know exactly what the Dr is going to do today....last time I went she said come back in 4 /5 weeks and we'll start your allergy tests....don't know whether that means she does them or refers me..guess will find out this morning.
Pouring down here....so will go in the car to DRs,then to bank and to fill car...also need cooked meat for sandwiches so will pop in somewhere for that.
Hope you all have a good day....
Lovely that you are all doing your houses up ...

Taxi, when I had allergy tests on the NHS, my GP referred me to a local clinic. That was a while ago, it might be different now with so many practice nurses.

I also would've thought that tests would be carried out at a hospital or something(in case people get an anyphalatic shock or something similar)....perhaps shewill just refer me...will find out soon enough...if she is only referring me then I'll be annoyed that i needed to go to the DRs for that and that she didn't do it 5 weeks ago as I guess that waiting lists are long as there aren't many allergy specialists in the country.

Good day's work yesterday taxi - and hope it all goes well at the docs and they are not just doing the paperwork still. Can be very frustrating when you can't find out what is happening.
