I'm glad to hear you are feeling better and hope you are soon back to full strength - your week off doesn't sound very restful though!
You are not letting anyone down - you are making financial decisions based on your situation and your priorities, which is exactly what we should all do. You have always been a role model for me and you continue to be.
I second that.
You take care, ur a brick to ur family, as well as a great support to us.xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
OY stop running yourself ragged, let someone else take some of the slack. Ie why can't the DD that lives with you take the wall paper back. Can OH get the badge and the other taxi stuff done? You don't want to have a problem because you are overdoing it. Having an allergic reaction IS A MAJOR LIFE THREATENING ISSUE. It isn't like having food poisoning that you can shake off in 24 hours of so. It is MAJOR trauma to your body. So stop trying to be such a heroine the next few days AND REST PROPERLY!
and sorry if i am laying it on a bit thick

Hi LT...don't know exactly what made me ill....but still haven't stopped itching so am going to make an appointment tomorrow.
Managed to get the light fittings today ...believe it or not from Asda and a really good price so happy with that.0 -
Morning all..hope you're all ok.Came on here last night to post but the forums were down.
I managed to get an appointment at the DRS yesterday and she gave me the strongest (against itching) antihistamines....I'm described as having chronic idiopathic urticaria and she thinks it was due to my Naproxen(NSAIDs)...so I now have to avoid those and aspirin and ibruprofen type medications.I have to see her in 5 weeks when we're going to arrange some allergy testing.
I asked her vabout stopping smoking whilst there and was told to make an appointment with the nurses..went bto reception and got one for 1/2 an hour later...I've been given patches and the inhalator so am going to try and give up again.
My DDs have booked us into a restaurant on thursday(late anniversary present) and they are paying.Am going to see if I can get my hair done today...it is in bad need of colouring and cutting!!!
Hope you all have a good day x0
