hi taxi. I'm just catching up on your news and very sorry to hear about the allergic reaction, that is worrying. Do get them to check out the meds, as people can develop reactions to things even after taking them for some time. Hope you soon feel better and can get back to work and more importantly, celebrate your anniversary.

    Thanks you two.
Feeling loads better now, thanks.I saw the consultant yesterday and when I said how crap I felt he said that was to be expected as the medication he put me on was to knock me out!!!!...he's quite happy with my recovery and has allowed me to come off the tablets..hence why I feel loads better.
He is saying not to worry about my heartbeat as my body was under a lot of stress at the time so it was to be expected. He doesn't know what caused the reaction or whether I'll get it again..so will have to wait and see!!!

DH has suggested I have another week off to fully regain my strength and I think I will do that as I have a lot of stuff to do....I have my accounts to do,the pits test to book and do,steam clean the car, have the car checked over and sort DHs badge....amongst all the other day to day stuff that needs doing.

I'm having some chill out time tomorrow as I'm going to town and treating myself to a couple of new outfits.I also want to get light fittings and door handles/etc for downstairs.
I've got 4 rolls of wallpaper to take back as well which I'll probably do tomorrow.

On the debtbusting front I'm paying the minimum payments etc and giving my brain time to think as I'm worn out with it all.I thought I'd feel really bad doing that but feel quite relieved at the moment.
I feel quite content to be having the work done around the house and taking my time to pay the debts off as I spend a lot of my time at home.We rarely go out and I feel a need for an emergency fund for if anything happens with the cab as when it was wrote off last year we were one step from bankruptcy thanks to the Halifax.
I think I just need to think things through.I hope I'm not letting anyone down.

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better and hope you are soon back to full strength - your week off doesn't sound very restful though!

You are not letting anyone down - you are making financial decisions based on your situation and your priorities, which is exactly what we should all do. You have always been a role model for me and you continue to be.
