faulty paint is a mare...I had some very expensive paint that was wrongly packaged so had a room of gloss.(though it was very thick but assumed that was the better quality!!)..mind you took a long fight for them to agree to pay for repaint (I did first lot myself but said no way I'm doing it again!)...sounds like crown were alot more reasonable!
Hows the work going? Is it busier?

Bob...I too would've put it down to my painting..lol..hence why I pay a professional.I would've blamed the decorator except he painted the bedroom with the same brand of paint(different colour) using exactly the same tools as he did in the longes in exactly the same way.We couldn't put it down to the new plastering either as all 3 rooms were plastered at the same time!!!!..so the only explanation we could come up with was the paint. The decorator said he'd never had that happen in his 10 years of decorating...
I must say so far Crown have been excellent(though it's really annoying tnot having either downstairs room done yet and the fact that I had to have time off while they were decorating and will have to again when they come back).
When I phoned Crown they arranged for a courier to come and pick up the paint along with a piece of paper with sample of 2 coats done with a roller and 2 coats done with a brush. They then test the paper through a machine and then the paint itself goes through tests. They then phoned yesterday to say that the paint was faulty so it only took 10days from the courier picking it up.I've just got to get the quote off the decorator and await whether they deem it reasonable or not and they said they will supply the paint so all is good.
ISOM sorry to hear about the gloss story that must have been horrible.I can't stand the smell of gloss let alone a full wall coated in it...yuck.Work is okish thanks for asking.
PT....I plan to enjoy the massage.I haven't had one before so am a bit nervous especially as I'm fat.

Glad to hear you got a good resolution regarding the dodgy paint - and fingers crossed to getting the rooms sorted sooner rather than later.

how was the massage? I reacon fat people (like me!) are better to massage as skinny people are bony..much nicer to have some squidge! Well done crown for being so good re the paint...I had a real fight with mine who said it was the shop who was liable as I got it from there...I think not! Mind you even repainted the finish isnt "clean"...
