glad your OH is safe Penguin, i'm like you totally against drink drivers (told my wedding guests i would report them if they tried it, which was a bit extreme but i'm not having it on my head).
Taxi - bah to the paint going weird, never heard of that before, but maybe i shouldn't blame OH for funny bits in the painting maybe it's the paint lol
I wish we had an attic then i could put a room up there for my crafting, but as we don't actually have an upstairs i'm not ever going to get an attice where i am am i? I soooooooo want a house

Drink drivers are the bane of my existence as well - it is courtesy of a drinker that I am now crippled!

Evening all....just thought I'd pop in.The electrician came and fitted the lights today so that's ready now.I hate heights and ladders so will have to wait for DH to sort stuff for the attic so probably Thursday on his day off now.
Going to phone decorator as he hasn't shown up yet(said he'd come after work).
Had the day off today but haven't managed to do much...just banking and a fair bit of washing.Managed to get two storage boxes for the loft and we have 6 under the bed ones.DH wants everything that will be stored in the loft to be in waterproof/dustproof boxes. Can't blame him as his tools are going up there and he has loads of them.So I need to buy a load more.B+Ms only had 2 good sized ones left so will look elsewhere for some as I need all this rcrap moved from all over the house(he has tools under the stairs,in the shed and in the wardrobe!!!)..be nice to be able to put other stuff in those places..he also has fishing tackle and boxes of records etc etc all over the house...think you get the picture now....lol...he won't get rid of any of it!!!!...so this is the best we can come up with...ahhhhhhhhh.

Just remember Taxi - Mr Taxi is not allowed to fill the gaps left by putting stuff in the loft with more stuff!

If it was down to me the whole lot would've been sold on e bay by now...lol...
Can't wait until the whole house is done..it will feel so much bigger..We need to get rid of the shed to have the kitchen extension built but I guess that will be a long time off as I want to save the money for that.Guessing it will be about £15k...but don't know.
Decorator is on his way as he's just finished on his other job....
DH can't wait for the house to be clutter free.
We had been toying with the idea of a bigger house but I'm quite into the idea of being debt and mortgage free and it'sonly the kitchen that is too small.
If we plod on and try really hard we should achieve debt and mortgage free maybe in less than 5 years. This is why we've decided to extend the kitchen.

    Hi all....Hope you're all ok.
Not a lot to report but have updated my sig to take into account a loan and CC payment today.
Crown paints phoned me back today to cofirm that there is a fault with the paint!!!...I have now got to send the original quote to them along with another quote for the re-work and then if they accept the figures then they'll pay the costs and supply the paint.Just have to wait to get hold of the decorator as he's gone to the football. So here's hoping that both my lounges can eventually get finished.
DH got a letter yesterday from his bank asking if he wanted a CC so I've filled that in for him and sent that back so we'll see if he gets it and if he does decide then what to do.I have transferred most of the virgin to Barclays but there's over £1k left to pay on it and the 0% runs out july so may transfer that across. Can you transfer debt between partners?
Think that's about it except my back is really bad the last few days and I've resorted to taking painkillers last night and today and also I've got my massage booked for friday(DD bought it for me)
