Asda BOGOF help please

It has been suggested that Asda do not have to honour the BOGOF. That's only true if they refuse to sell it. Once it is through the till, they are in breach of s20 of CPA if they charge full price, and can be prosecuted. If the signs are there, and they overcharge, they break the law. Simple. Nothing to do with goodwill.0

i think i got a sort of bogof today:D they had vanilla flavour jammie dodgers in asda for 20p so i bought 2 packets at the till it showed up j,dodgers x2 =40p then it had -65p:rotfl: they must have been originally 65p on bogof but forgot to change it when they reduced them to 20p well after checking my receipt i took an instant liking to those vanilla jammie dodgers and bought 1/2 dozen more:j0

Hi Lilaclillie. I noticed the Schloer offer on at my local Asda on Wednesday. Have just checked on website (today being Friday)and the offer is still on until 23.01.06. I like the white grape, raspberry & cranberry myself, very refreshing, had it with our works Christmas lunch (as non-alcoholic!) Good luck!If practice makes perfect, and nobody is perfect....................................
Why practice!:T0 -

You'll find that most of these signs will have finish dates for the offer on them, technically covering them.

In my ASDA the Schloer is still there in the same place it has been on BOGOF. However it has changed to just say WOW and its at the same £1.85
So the offer has ended where I am.0 -

Asda are good with this. I've been overcharged 3 times, each time I went to Customer Services and got a £2 Gift Card. First time was on a wrong BOGOF, other two were on stuff scanned twice by accident.0 -
I have to agree, I'm sick of waiting for ages at morrisons CS just to get money thats rightfully mine when there is a price error (there are many unfortunatly). At adsa it's a different story, I dont often get overcharged there, but it's nice to know that I will always get a 2 pound voucher for next time. The most common reason recently for getting a refund is when their reduced items only have a reduced sticker on top and not on the barcode, now I'm not suggesting that you take the reduced sticker off the barcode to get a free 2 pound voucher, but I'm sure it must happen.

Thats a bit underhand isn't it? More like stealing than bargain hunting IMO. Lets keep the bargains legit shall we...?jonboy31 wrote:I have to agree, I'm sick of waiting for ages at morrisons CS just to get money thats rightfully mine when there is a price error (there are many unfortunatly).
