Asda BOGOF help please

Today in store I bought 2 bottles of Shloer soft drink....................but only because it said on the shelf BOGOF. I bought it all over Xmas at BOGOF, so was surprised it was still on.
Only now I've checked my reciept it seems I was charged for both! I've tried to look on Fixture ferrets and Asda. Asda won't let me browse, so I can't check if its still on offer or not.
Its a bit out of my way to go to the store, but I will if I've been overcharged.
I know if I ring them they will say its finished . Can anyone check it for me online tonight if you have access to the Asda website Please. It'll save my poor old legs a trip, if itsno longer on offer.
Thanks
LL

If you say that the shelf still said it was BOGOF then it makes no difference whether their official offer has expired or not. The shelf indication is binding.

You should go to customer services and get the refund for one of the items, PLUS £2 on an Asda gift card for being overcharged.

Agree, if the shelf said BOGOF they have to honour it.

Technically not, but they should do as a gesture of goodwill. Keep your receipt.

I know they should honour it, but I didn't want to make the (longish out of the way), journey back and the sign was then down (hence an arguement), or ring them and be told the offer was no longer on.
Put it down to my own fault for not checking straight away. Still, I did get over £8 of vouchers accepted....................but as we know on here..............that's not the point.

I bought Kingsmill bread yesterday shelf label said 2 for £1.20. I know the offer was on before xmas, but only noticed when I got home I was charged 77p each, checked Asda website the offer is not showing on there so I assume its finished. Its not worth going back too far, I shall look next week the only trouble is that the offer labels will probably have been removed by then so I cant prove it was still on yesterday. I was overcharged on shampoo yesterday supposed to be 2 for £1.50 I did notice that and got a £2 gift card.

I was in the Asda in Hinckley this afternoon and they still had the offer for the shloer on display.
  • Definitely still on offer in my local Asda yesterday - loads of them all on end of an aisle which had the 'buy one get one free' sign displayed
