Glad you had a good time, someone I work with who is usually very carefree with money was complaining about the costs skiing this year. They had gone half board so it was only coffees and lunches but he said it was crazy and they ended up buying a baguette or something to take with them most of the time for lunch.

  • Welcome home to the Hypno clan. Glad the holiday was good - think even the additional expense must have been worth it to take a break from home for a bit. Is this the nudge you need to get more into matched betting perhaps?

Have a good sleep tonight and look forward to catching up in the weeks ahead. Is this the start of a new thread perhaps or will that be post-Marathon next week?

That reminds me - as you have a bit of a fan club here, can you let us know who you're running for so we can each add a £1 donation (every penny counts and all that!)

Morning guys - I had an early night last night so missed most of your posts. It was so nice to be sleeping in my own bed again!

Last time I spoke to Pania she was intending to run the marathon, but I will speak to her again this week to confirm.

I am running for Mencap and my justgiving link can be found here for anyone able to spare a ££ or two. For anyone wanting to watch, there is a "spectator guide" on the marathon site - click here which has the best places to stand, pubs etc. I'm sure it will be a fab day out :D

So......back to work today......I could do with another couple of days off to recover from being away, but there we are......it will feel as though I have never been away!

Scratchcards done - £1 on one, so that helps the cause.....then hopefully this evening I will start getting my head around the money situation

    Have a good day everyone!!

    xx

Morning Hypno - glad you had a good holiday! OMG - 21 Euros for swimming?? That's robbery...

Maybe your £1 on the scratchcards is the start of things to come...

    Robbery indeed

Anyway.....just totted up some initial numbers and I have paid off another £133.66 from the debt while I have been away, with normal payments coming out of my bank account.....so another couple of squares duly coloured in - always a good start to the day!!
