Hi hypno - do you use a garmin?

Indeed I do - I hate running without one! I have the 405 and love downloading my runs to the laptop when I get in :D

I aborted my run this morning - I set off hoping to do 16 miles and gave up after 9, so although 9 is a fair distance, I was still incredibly upset I didn't get any further.

I went to the football with DS - and we lost. Not a good day at all!

But, a friend has invited me round for dinner and girly catch up gossip stuff, so I am going to enjoy that, and forget about the less enjoyable parts of my Saturday.

Hope you have all had a good day x

  • I had a session with a personal trainer yesterday and she recommended the 405. I've just read some online reviews with people having problems with the bezel when it's wet, but I can't imagine I'd be fiddling with it too much when I'm running - I'm more likely to be gasping for breath!! :)

Sounds like it's worth getting one then?

But think how good you will feel at the end of it, not to mention how much you can pig out over Easter without any guilt!!

I know - I am holding on to that thought! I might even have lost some weight - I hope so!! And yes, I am very much looking forward to an Easter pig-out!:D

GTD, I've not had any problems with my garmin - I am sure I don't use it to its full potential, but it does what I need it to do and I am very happy with it - I have had it since the beginning of November and have run in all weathers through the winter without any real problems. I would lend you mine, but........:D

Pigginskint - I have done day 4 without chocolate.....am feeling very pleased with myself.

    Well done! :T :T :T

I was at my Dad's today for my little nephew's first birthday party. On the buffet table there were lots of crisps of various different kinds....and I resisted them all!!! (The yummy cheese was a consolation, as was the blackcurrant cheesecake!!! :D )

See, we can be strong-willed! Sometimes. Occasionally. When we want to be.........:D

(although I could quite happily demolish a bar of green and blacks or a pack of chocolate hob nobs right now!)
