Ah yes, the joys of being parents to sporty children
I reckon I could go on that programme "10 years younger" and the first thing they would say to me is not have a face lift, or a chemical peel and botox, but would be "stop your kids skiing" as I am sure that contributes hugely to my bags under my eyes, dark circles and dull complexion, coupled with the "chuck on a pair of trackies and a sloppy jumper" that seems to accompany this hour of the day :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Morning Hypno! My word, you were about early - and no one else was here to chat to you
I'm definitely dressed down still, at the much later time of 9am .... I've got some freebie facial wipes to test out via Lightspeed, so my complexion will be getting a bit of a workout at the mo - mine is dull too, even without kids off skiing. I bet you're out there now, aren't you? :A
Walshy - I'll remind you when Michael's next over, don't worry! I'm watching Stargate Atlantis too - DVDing it, I plan to stop getting Sky when they're done, in spite of Stargate Universe. Have you seen Burn Notice on FX? Michael's got a recurring role midway through the second season, its getting rave reviews.

Yes KC, at the ski club at the moment and will be for most of the morning before going to lunch with the in-laws.....
One dooyoo review written, and I will try and get another done later when my creative side of my brain kicks in a bit more......£1 on the scratchcard so that is most welcome.....bringing me a wee bit closer to cash-in.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I think I got a total of 45p on the scratchies today. "Every little helps!" I've just been off doing my big Tesco order, haven't done an online shop for ages - first time since I got Clubcard Plus, and I've stretched it to the max, if they don't count some of the vouchers, I'll go over. In fact, thinking of how little I trust Tesco right now, I think I'll go back and cancel a few things. I've got a total of a tenner in vouchers etc, counting a big one from on here, and a cheap delivery time too. Wringing them dry? Li'l ole me?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I need to get back into the habit of online shopping for my groceries - it really is much better for me and my budget.
Sadly, I have taken my eye off the ball over the last few weeks, and I am sure I have spent far more on smaller grocery shops than I would have done with one big shop each week. It is payday tomorrow so I will get my act together and sort out a proper routine again.
I don't think it is so much as having lost my focus, but I might have mislaid it once or twice recently.....kick up the backside needed I think! Mind you, with work being as busy as it is, and the need to get running more and more, I don't supposed I can be surprised.
I expect things will "drift" for the next few weeks until our ski trip and the Marathon are out of the way......then it will be focus focus focus! OR ELSE!!!!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Consider yourself kicked
Now, who's going to give me a good hard boot up the rear?0 -
A mutual !!!!! kicking session is required PP! I can't even do the "complete the challenge challenge" right now, although "eating chocolate" is still looking like the most achievableSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. :rotfl: Kickety-kickety-kick to all concerned! Including me! Complete the challenge is not going to happen - mind you, I did sell a double CD on Amazon yesterday for £13.50, so I refuse to feel too guilty. But as you said, Panda - you started the flipping thread :rotfl: get over there, woman!
Hypno - lovely to think of the skiing holiday, I'm so glad you've booked it. Your work sounds so busy, to do anything extra apart from dooyoo you really need that break.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
