walshy - good luck with Amazon - we have had some really good sales through there, and some that we THOUGHT were really good until we weighed them at the post office and realised the cost of posting them was greater than the amount we had earned :o

shaun, being from the midlands I guess you can choose whether you are up north or down south depending on which goes in your favour that day :rotfl:

I have done one dooyoo review today - should really do more but my brain is mush......just as well that I don't have to make any life-saving decisions today then :p

  • Morning all!

I've started selling on Amazon Marketplace. I must be a very lucky geek because I bought all my Stargate SG-1/Atlantis DVD box sets for £19.99 and now selling them for an actual profit as Amazon are charging £37 currently! :j

Sometimes there is an advantage to being a geeky geekerson with a small, minor obsession with Michael Shanks... Ahhh Doctor Jackson, how you made my evenings complete...

So yeah even better was that I bought Take That's album for £2 from Woolworths and now selling it for £7.50!! Even when they take off VAT and seller's fees, I'm still looking at a good profit!

In other news, I'm bored! :rotfl: Crackerjack was a little/way before my time. Mine was Alive and Kicking and Blue Peter...

That's another one with a Michael Shanks obsession..KC will be upset at the competition although she does have a photo of them both together:D How can you bear to sell Stargate? It will be the last thing to go for me, i am still reeling over selling some of my books last year:o

Alive and Kicking was pants in comparison to Crackerjack:rotfl:
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

    Walshy!!!!! You like Michael!!!!!

As Bob says, I adore Michael Shanks .... I confess, he knows me now, I've met him so many times (he knows lots of fans) - last time I saw him was last June in Northampton, where he and Chris Judge were reunited on stage again, along with Gary Jones. It was an absolute blast, along with a sixties disco in the evening.

Michael's lovely. He's a very blokey bloke, and thoughtful. And married, but we can't have it all :D.

Did I mention I like Michael Shanks?

Sorry for the hijack, Hypno, I couldn't resist :rotfl:

    Mudbath, I am speechless :rotfl:

We had a nice day - I went with DD to the cinema.....Confessions of a spendaholic. Very funny, but a little too close to home in places.....credit card being declined, DCAs calling at work etc......I half expected her to fire up her laptop and log onto MSE at some points :rotfl: But very good and a nice easy film to watch as a Mum & Daughter treat.

Another couple of dooyoo reviews done too, so that is my moneymaking done for the day......must try harder!

I thought drop-a-cabbage had been with it since the start! I loved vision-on too! Still not sure about the dead fly thing though  :rotfl:

He he! When he's next in the UK I'll be there, I just need a little nudge/reminder and I'll be there! I'm not obsessed with Shanks, just the Daniel Jackson thing... I wanted to be an Archaeologist and that helped my decision at 12! :T Until I realised the pay levels after 5 years of university studies with no guarantee of a job!

Luckily I have Sky+ so I'm watching Stargate Atlantis everyday on Sky 2. Universe starts in October with Robert Carlisle and SG-1 (well my favourite episodes like Window of Opportunity) are stored on the I-pod.:T

But yeah, I need to get sell them now to pay off the overdraft, make the profit, get out of the overdraft and then I'll get the official Season 1-10 box set...:rotfl:  :rotfl:
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!

Aww it is always a 'moment' when children are big enough to do something like coaching on their own, isn't it. YOu must be very proud of them.

We are back into the Saturday cricket thing now, and me and OH really didn't want to get up but hey ho this is just the start of it. If my two are like their cousins (who both played for their county at football), we shall be doing this for the next 13 years or so......

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
