  • London was hilarious!

The only transport in London that was being run completely normally was the DLR!!! Thank God I say! :j

And it was being run by a private company... Not that I'm saying anything.

I've had a massive barney with some nurses at work who said they were working from heom, clearly weren't as I was emailing them all day and got nothing back, I lectured them in my very HR voice, they complained to their manager for interfering, I then filled out a whistle blowing grievance and they're now being disciplined for misconduct for not actually working!

If they said the kids were off school and no childcare then I would've been ok but they out rightly lied! :rotfl:

Note to all: Do not mess with an annoyed public sector HR professional who had to come into work and walked 5 miles for it too! Also don't mess with them when they're trying to do you a favour by filling their jobs!
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!

  • I'm not scary, just a little peeved that people who live around the corner did not bother to come in, let alone have the decency to tell me when I've got to organise quite important interviews! You wouldn't get this (often) in the private sector, yet here it's endemic!

Rant over, happy Walshy is back!

**creeps in to see if the scary people are still scary or are nice again** :rotfl:

Morning! another Wednesday means we are half way through another week ......scratchcard sites are down for maintenance so I need to remember that they still need doing later.

I must also remember to go to the bank - my latest cheque for student money has arrived, and I need that to book Eurostar tickets (through quidco of course) for our holiday.

Hope you all have a good day x
