    Hi there

I just wanted to see what a ride in ambulance was like as everyone else in the family seems to have done so recently !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually the doctors sent me to hospital as a precaution - i didn;t ring for an ambulance. Everything is fine - ECG's (all five of them!) were consistent and normal and the blood test was fine as well - so at least I know my heart is working properly! Still got ache in my chest which is a bit like indigestition but none of hte remedies shift it !!!

Hope you enjoy your run !!!

Run has been put on hold.

DD is having a "moment" because she is the only one of her "group" not on the slopes at the moment......everyone is posting pictures on facebook and saying how much fun they are having, how good the snow is etc, and she is not going skiing this season at all. Of course, her brother IS going in a couple of weeks, and despite all her early talk of it not being an issue, it quite clearly is......

    *sigh*

life as a skint parent is soooo hard sometimes......especially as I wanna ski too, and I have to pretend that it is not an issue for me! Gah!!

Well it's the usual "see a GP" thing. Could just be something innocuous like a hernia.

Why pretend? Tell DD about it so she doesn't feel like everyone thinks she's just feelng unreasonable.

Oh dear ... just caught up with DD's moment. Hypno, Z has a point.... but I wonder if it would make her feel better or worse, that you feel the same as she does?

Are you ill Hypno?..that's an awful lot of housework!!!!..sorry to hear of DDs moment. She's bound to feel a bit like that as she loves skiing.Z has a point tell her how you feel as well.
Maybe you could say that you will all have a family holiday skiing when you are debt free and before you buy the dream house and then you've all got someting to look forward to.
Surfbabe..hope you get well soon..have you maybe pulled your heart muscle I did that once and it was agony....I didn't even know it was possible...

Oh, she knows that I feel the same way - I have been a ski-nutter for many many more years than she has and so we can easily have those conversations, but we don't want to both be sat there feeling sorry for ourselves, so I have to pretend to a certain extent.

.....housework has ground to a halt - but I have a sparkly clean dining room which is an achievement in itself - we could even sit around the table if we wanted to!
