"This time next year, Rodney" Hypno's latest instalment

Hi hypno and all posters on this brilliant diary.
Am new to the world of MSE (wish I'd discovered it years ago before my finances were so dire:o ) but am finding my way round the site and have already subscribed to a few diaries which have taken my fancy, including this one. You seem a friendly crew on here so I hope to pop in from time to time.
I've seen your entries about the Dooyoo reviews, hypno, and have just joined in the hope of making a bit of cash by reviewing stuff myself. Thanks for the heads-up:beer:.
I've also found this site:
http://www.bview.co.uk/static/frontend/bv.119/content/BView_rewards.html
and although as yet I don't know anything about it other than what they tell us  I wondered if you or any of your contributors have had any dealings with them. It involves reviewing businesses etc local to you so might be worth doing especially if there aren't many others in the area doing it.
Keep up the good work debt-busting, and entertaining and inspiring us all in the process.0 -
OK
Let's make this official
Who wants a DFW meet up in London at a prearranged point somewhere along the Marathon route to cheer on our very own lunatics..... er I mean valiant runners !!
I'll organize if there's interest -might even supply the sticky buns.
count me in Duchy, we can wave our sticky buns as they whizz by0 -

hi carbootcrazy, and welcome to the little bit of madness that is my debt free diary part 458.........:D
I've not done bview - something for me to look into too then I suppose!
As for the marathon - I thought I would have my dongle on my laptop as I go round.....then I can review all the sights that I pass, as well as doing a couple of coffee shop mystery shop visits? I would probably only manage a couple of M/S visits because I don't really want to be carrying £3 of Tesco shopping with every stop that I make.......the marathon is hard enough as it is, don't ya know!!!
duchy, will you be handing out the sticky buns to the MSE runners for much needed en-route carb loading, or are you planning on scoffing them all yourselves as you watch and laugh.......Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hey Dragon, I'm not too proud to drag a chair on the tube to our meeting point, and you could sit in style on the pavement edge. At least Hypno and others would find it easier to spot us if you were waving your crutch at her :rotfl:0 -

just running off to check the diary ........................ well all right not running but ambling. Still got ache in chest - not pleasant but I suposed I will have to get used to it.
DD is home from her friends 18th b/d treat - a photoshoot.... she has been told she ought to seriously look into modelling !!!!!
anyway hope you have a good rest of the day - I'm taking it easy again !!!0 -
I'm on for the support group - its in the diary now. I've never done that before, it should be a lot of fun.
.... Dragon .... seriously.... have you seen those big canvas chairs that fold up to not much more than the thickness of a fishing rod. I've seen people running with them, they look really light, but very sturdy too, people lounge about on them very freely, noone seems to have to balance delicately in case the thing collapses. Anyway ... Dragon, if you'd like to come, go for it! If you don't fancy struggling up to London, I surely understand that.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
surfbabe I am worried about you - perhaps all the stresses of the past few weeks (illness, family stuff, etc) has taken its toll.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
