The house has to be "company ready" - the client is a friend of a friend, and I know that if she needs to come into the house to use the loo, she will report back on the state of the place to our mutual friend, and as that particular friend has no idea of my housework phobia, I need to make sure it stays that way!!!

Forgot to mention yesterday, I don't know if you remember but Barclays put a "late payment" on my credit file when my payment wasn't late at all - Barclays had a systems problem that reversed everyone's payment on that particular day, but I noticed it myself when I did online banking, rang up and did a manual payment, so my payment wasn't even a day late!

Anyway, I complained, and yesterday they rang to say sorry and that they would reverse the credit reference, and would write to me with confirmation.

So, my perfect credit score should remain so........thankfully!

I pay £6.99 a month for my credit file - I am glad that I do really, because otherwise I wouldn't pick things like this up. At least for the cost, I can keep on top of things and get them fixed!

KC, the grant application is a sports grant for the children - they got one last year but whether that is any indication of whether they would get anything this year is unknown.......it is worth a try anyway.

I am scaring myself with the amount of housework I have managed to get done this morning..........it is amazing what a bit of FEAR can do for you :rotfl:

Afternoon - gosh you have all been busy - unlike me. Guess where I ended up yesterday ............................ in an ambulance being blue lighted to hopsital !!! Oh my life is such fun ! Luckily everything is Ok and I'm home but not an experience i would want to repeat.

Hope everything is ok with everyone else. I'm doing nothing at the moment!
