hi beanie, oh ye of little faith........I am sure I will have something to report soon!!
seaxwyn - hello!! How are you? Thank you for posting the link. I got an email through yesterday with it. If they are as quick with these as they were with the Amazon vouchers, it will be quite good. I think DD is up for it again!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. My DD says she can't possibly think of 50 more places to review! I'm wondering too... I'm fine thanks. Just got a huge job come in which should keep me fully occupied til the end of Feb, thankfully.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

That's excellent news, Seax - did you decide whether to take the Park job any further?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

I think I will apply for the job. I keep rereading the bumph and I don't really have all the qualities they want, but I do have some. The ad invites you to ring the parks dept manager for an 'informal chat' so I must think up some sensible questions and give him a ring.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

A chat with the guy would definitely be a good idea, Seaxwyn.
Scratchcards done -£1 on one, and 25p on another, so not too bad. Remember it is double scratch day today.......
OH has gone to work, filling in at the last minute for someone who is off sick, so that is another useful extra amount that we will get eventually. DD is poorly (she was asleep by 6 last night, having only got up at midday) so I will have to drive her round her paper-round this morning......DS went to a party last night and didn't get home until almost midnight (!) so he is hankering for a lift round his paper-round too.......I think I had better go and make myself a cup of coffee to put in my thermal-mug ready to take with me!
After that, I am sure they are both not well/awake enough to ski today, so I will push for a "recovery day" for them.......and I can do some more ironing, and see if I can get somewhere close to the bottom of the pile......
A few more dooyoo reviews to do as well......I am almost as addicted to that site as I am to this one! AAARRGGHH!!!!
Have a good day, everyone xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Right, whizzed round two paper rounds - everyone sorted. DD has gone back to bed now and I expect she will resurface after lunchtime!

Good heavens .... thats a lot already!
I know what Seaxwyn's DD means about the not finding anywhere else to review - I felt a bit that way myself, but then I went through a local town section by section, and (mostly because of mystery shopping) there's quite a few places I can do. So I've started to go for it. I just hope they tell you where you are with the challenge when you log back on - I'm keeping notes this time, but its a bit problematic.
Have a good day, Hypno.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
