Good morning, and welcome to the weekend. Scratchcards done and nothing more than 10p today........again!

I am planning a bit of a housework day today - in between running the children about to their various activities/parties/jobs........

I want to decorate (it has been almost 6 years since I did so, and we need a "freshen up") so I want to get to a position where I can do that, room by room. I have made a list of what needs doing, and I am going to start looking out for reduced stock of paint etc in the sales/closing down sales over the next few weeks. The student is going home for Feb half term so I can do her room then, and some rooms just need a new coat of the same colour, but the ceilings weren't done last time round, so could do with brightening up etc.

I am not running today - blisters still too bad, so will divert my energy into getting my house nice........(well, nicer than it is at the mo!).

I will also do a couple of dooyoo reviews.......and might find time for a little MSE mooching :D

    Have a good day everyone!

  • Mooching sounds better :D

I'm travelling all round the houses! Going to Watford, back into London and back out again in the space of 18 hours! Going to be a lonnnnnnnng day!

But I get to see people and be social and see if they know of any HR jobs going that I can get my teeth into!

Have a good day, Walshy - it is unusual to see you about at this time of the day!

Morning, scatchcards done, only 10p again this morning. Had a quick 10p game of bingo while I was there:eek:, didn't win though, cant believe how many people were playing at 8 on a Sat morning.

Hope those blisters start improving for you soon. Be careful with the housework, it may become addictive:rotfl:.

I thought housework would cause more blisters than running, thats why I don't generally bother much

Did my scratchcards too only 10p but then thought I would buy a couple of scratchcards with the winnings to keep Virgin happy and used it all up...ooops won't do that again but it was addictive spending their money to try and get a chance of a bigger prize :p I'll be good in future :o

Good luck with the house today :D

Housework won't be starting until later - we have skiing etc to get out of the way first. (see, I am making excuses already!).

One dooyoo review is done, so I have at least done something moneysaving.......I might take the laptop with me to the ski club so I can do some more work there.

I'm usually passed out but I went to bed early then got up at my weekday time so now I'm lounging in bed whils the OH goes to the gym and then I'll get up when the housemate get's up so I can do some washing before going!

Went on to TAB and won 10p! that's my first scratch card!

Babysitting now is a doddle - DD has taken her laptop to chat on MSN and has Sky telly there, and plays with the Wii with the children before bed - when I was a teenager, the TV finished with the National Anthem at 11pm, there were only three channels anyway, and I had to sit quietly and read a book!

And sunday television did not exist......those were the days....big sigh:rotfl:
