    They look nice Gryfon!

Oh, and slightly off topic, when I went out this evening to my meeting (walked) I noticed one car show room and two shops have suddenly closed in the last week or so. Also another car show room on my way to work has been suddenly boarded up. This recession thing is getting quite frightening!

At least 2, if not 3, car showrooms down here have closed in the last 2 weeks. At one of them, the mechanics tools were locked in and they had to wait days to get them back! It is really scary. A couple of local shops have shut too, according to tonight's local paper!

Oh, and Gryfon, the mince pies look very yummy :D

I might do a little cross stitch before I go to bed - have sorted clothes for tomorrow night's do, wrapped the secret santa present, and sorted what I'm doing with my class tomorrow. One more week to go ......... :p

HEEHEE!!!... Like an old dog me... feel like you've had me forever and don't know how to get rid!

I in't brokkied to be fixified and (in my bestestest King Julian voice) 'so.. shut up!'

Have you been to the docs? Mrs 'I stayed in bed all day and skived off work' ?? I didn't skive.. I went!

    *waits for the 'no!'*

*says weakly* I'm too poorly to go to the doc's, anyway with the amount of people slipping over and breaking things its probably a good thing *reaches weakly over and crams a bit more chocolate in mouth*:p:D

pigpen, if you even think you might have epilepsy don't attempt to learn to drive please, that's a genuine request from someone who's friend died when the driver of the car he was in had a seizure, he'd been hiding his epilepsy because he knew they'd stop him driving but now he has that to live with. I think I know you wouldn't, but just incase. Is the behaviour policy not a adopted county one? Or even on their website?

Gryfon, several near us have too. A friend of mine her partner is high up in one of the big car retailers and they are struggling too. http://www.oatesgarage.co.uk/ I know a few people who used them for years and they just disappeared, that was a dealers website until last week. Nissan up here have sent 3000+ staff home this week, they'd already cut back to 2/3 of the shifts producing cars. Oh and those pies look yummy, do you have a recipe and can I please borrow your star cutter? :D Actually I might have a cookie one in the drawer, if not we're having dinosaur mince pies!

Right, question, the housing association said the letters to request references might have already gone out to LL, argh! I didn't even say they could. Anyway, I don't want her to panic and think we're moving after what we discussed about wanting to stay here, it's probably the biggest reason I didn't take the house. Should I let her know before it arrives, and maybe why even if it's half the price that we've stayed here based on her saying she had no plans to take the house from us and could stay here as long as we like? I'd have taken it if we were really worried even if only for the short term. Suppose it'll make her aware how serious we are about staying?

Wanted a shower but 2 children being yoyos and the heating had gone off on the timer by the time I managed to get them to be quiet so have put it back on (It's extremely cold here at the mo) and waiting for it to heat up a bit. Filled the WM with the boys uniforms which may aswell start as it'll take a while to warm up here. Need to empty the DW when it finishes & start refilling it.
One day I might be more organised...........

I can't be bothered to go back to my lil ol listy but today I have cleaned the bathroom, the kitchen and the living room, also the shed...

Tomorrow I will have to do my errand, dining room hall, stairs and landing and change the beds.

christmas tree has been lit by me (it's an artificial one we have had for about 10 years) and trimmed by DD who has selected red and silver baubles (from my very extensive collection) and a few 'specials'. DS has been instructed NOT to eat the chocolate ones - or chocolate tree decs will not be used again in Valliland... he's worse than a dog...
