Evening all,

mo4 &anwmum - ((((hugs)))) with all you have to deal with the last thing you need is troublesome inlaws.

toots&froddy -I will join in your iron challenge for New Year I normally try tohave all the washing & ironing upto date but have failed miserably over the last couple of years.

Well managed the school & swim run but that has taken all of my energy, dont think I will make it to work tomorrow but willmake the final decision in the morning. Going for a bath and then an early night so will catch up in the morning.

Its my parents and most of my sisters and their families!!
I just peel the potatoes and prepare the veg.....And provide the venue!! Dad does the cooking:)
One of my elderly neighbours is coming up too, she has no family here and I couldnt bear someone being on their own at christmas. My kids and i get up on xmas morning and open presents....then we are going to the hospital to see their dad...(santa is coming there too, the nurses have been great in arranging a place for me to keep some santa stuff) then we come home and start preparing all the stuff....we sit down at around 3:)

A couple of years ago OH (Ashia's Dad) came running down the stairs holding a shirt that I had ironed muttering it was no good and ironed it himself - sufice to say but to this day I haven't ironed anything of his. I used to do all mine and the kids and leave his in the basket, now he just does it all - I bought him a lovely ironing press last year:rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm going to post my list then read over the thread once i've had a shower and done the ironing.
Discovered i'm going to have to do more sanding im the dining room as i found out DH is hopeless at sanding and i'll have to go over all his work!!:eek:
