    Evening all

Hugs to those with family problems big and small.

Took the boys to visit Grandma and sing Happy Birthday. It was lovely to see her and will see her again on Christmas Day.

Still no flying but 2 of my online orders done, list checked - still some holes. Going to get DS3 to bed (he is vile - Christmas play week at school - he was very good) and then prepare a list of presents/returns to do tomorrow so that it takes as little time as possilbe.

Vali - I got the minatures in the Martins by Grandmas so thanks for that tip - I'd never have thought of checking there.

You would be very welcome to join me and froddy - the aim is to have all the ironing done by new years eve! just think what a great start that would be for the new year!
    toots xx

oooo errrrr missus that sounds like a challenge! But I think like mof77 next new years eve might be more achievable :rotfl:

I think for me personally I need to make sure I can get to all the drawers and wardrobes so I can put stuff away before I commit to getting rid of the pile just yet!

Kazwookie......its been going on for 4 years, when I had DH home for 18 months I had to take him to a nursing home once a week so that they could visit him as i felt that they may have been the ones to hold the "key" to him coming out of his waking coma!!! As they wouldnt visit him here it cost me £30 pw to do this....not including diesel!!! So im well used to it, I have put myself out for these people time and time again!! But he gradually became more difficult to manage, and there were times when he was in a constant epliptic fit because there was too much going on around him at home......to much stimulation from the kids and i couldnt tell them to be quiet all the time!!! It was the most hardest decision of my life to choose between the kids and their dad but it is the best thing for all!!!

I don't envy you having to make a decision like that at all, I applaud you for making it though.

Are we going to agree to have no ironing pile by NYE 2009? ;) Reckon I can work towards that.

4 years ***glow*** I'm not irish - it's a clue to the flylady on the xmas list name ... although I am a redhead and thus people assume I am irish/scottish sometimes...we have a mysterious Irish link to a great grandmother who we can't quite place and who appears to have lied about her DoB on a marriage cert...
