Thanks sarah you are so right about the direct approach and there are certainly times when I would love to do just that! Somehow since DH died I feel mean and nasty if I think ill of them and for the most part I let it go straight over the top but just every now and again it really gets to me. Neither of them drive (never have) but we do live 50 yds from the bus route and the other stop is right outside their house. When we moved here she asked which buses ran this way, we found out and guess how many times in 9 years they have caught that bus ......................... none, not once, nada, zilch so I know things won't change plus they are almost 71 (act 81 at times) and I tend to think general old age crotchetiness is creeping into the equation. The last time they came here was the die DH was buried and even then FIL did not want to come inside the house.

Oh and while I'm on one :rotfl: I hate this single parent lark and I want DH back now.

But the things I am most proud of are A and W, they are safe, secure and know I m doing my best for them and apart from DH not being here we are happy and loved.

Normal service will now be resumed!!!!!

Good evening all. I am soooooo tired, this working lark is going to take a bit of getting used to lol.
Need to think of something for tea now, luckily DP has fed the kids so I dont have to come up with something for them aswell.
Have hung washing around and put another load in WM, must get that hung up and another load done before bed or else I will be drowning in washing by the end of the week.

well bah humbug to them!!!! They are soooooooooo missing out on 2 lovely children!

Hugs to you honey - I cant imagine how you must feel - but all credit to you for bringing up your lovely kids in a loving home - sorry - in a loving and flylady clean home!!!

Had a lovely lunch with my friend. She is coping well and has lots of support.

I got a few xmas things in M&S and then came home and went to post office and library.

This evening I want to write some more cards and wrap some presents. I find doing things in short spells better. At work tomorrow so will have a quick look at the list and see what it is tomorrow.
