Need urgent help re BB broadband pricing!

Hi all
I have Virgin TV (basic) and telephone (basic) and I am paying £22.50 per month. I called Virgin a couple of weeks ago about getting broadband and was told by 2 separate agents that I could add broadband to my package for an extra £8.50 per month, which I agreed to.
So now I am all set up on BB. But yesterday I received my contract to sign saying that my broadband is an extra £18 per month!! I called customer services to check this and they have said that £18 is correct and that I cannot get broadband for £8.50 per month!! So this was clearly a sales offer and customer services are refusing to honour and there are no notes on my account to confirm!
To add insult to injury, I was told that the £10 delivery fee would be waived and this hasn't been done either!! I said I wanted to speak to disconnections to cancel but they are closed today and the customer service agent told me that he would put in 30 days cancellation notice to cancel all my services without even trying to put up a fight to keep me as a customer!!
Can anyone PLEASE give me any advice on this? Is anyone aware if this is a legitimate sales promotion (ie the £8.50 per month) and how I can go about getting this honoued!?
Thanks very much
